COVID-19 UPDATE
Amidst the fears and concerns surrounding the COVID-19, we want to notify you that we are open what we are doing to help prevent the spread of illness among staff and patients.
We want to assure you that our normal protocols of cleanliness and sanitation are in line with preventing the spread of illness, including COVID-19. The virus is likely to cause only mild symptoms in most of us, but it is crucial that we all do our part in preventing its spread. As we have patients of all ages and levels of immunity, we are implementing additional measures to further minimize patient and staff risk.
As always, the staff will be thoroughly washing hands before each patient but will also have hand sanitizer for additional use in each room. We use EPA approved disinfectant’s that can kill COVID-19 and we will be using those to clean rooms in between patients. We will be thorough in cleaning rooms including tables, face rest, furniture, doorknobs and linens between each patient to reduce risk of exposure. In our waiting room, we will have patient’s practice “social distancing” and have additional waiting areas available.
- When you arrive, we will ask that you immediately use the hand sanitizer at the check in desk or you can use the bathroom sink to wash with warm water/soap for at least 20 seconds.
- Please stay home if you have a cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, chills, diarrhea or have had a fever in the past 21 days. If you are exposed to anyone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19, we request that you not come in (and consider self-quarantine) for 14 days.
- For patients suffering from immunocompromised states such as diabetes, lung issues (COPD/asthma) or other chronic medical conditions, we suggest you postpone your visits at this time.
